7 Months and 1 Gallon of Black Paint Later

About
Loryn Cook painted this line-art mural while working as an architectural designer at Brown Studio, chipping away at it a little before and after work each day for seven months. It grew out of a sketch her boss at the time, Lindsay Brown, happened to see; he asked her to do a full piece covering the studio's projects and inside jokes, and she took him up on it. She's since moved on to design and build projects in New York, including the Close Up jazz club in Manhattan and Dinner Party in Brooklyn. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from UC Berkeley and works across ceramics, murals, and pattern design alongside her architectural practice.
