DJ Javier — a Filipino American artist and founder of the Bayan Surf Club creative studio in Santa Barbara — painted this mural in partnership with Un Mar de Colores, an Encinitas nonprofit that runs free youth surf programs for underserved communities. Lucy, the Just Peachy market owner’s daughter, was among Un Mar’s first students — which is why the Ambrosio family offered their wall. Funded by the State Conservancy’s Coastal Stories Grant. The right wall is Just Peachy – Orange Grove by Wyn Di Stefano.
