Casey O'Connell moved to Leucadia from San Francisco after a surf trip — waves at Beacon's Beach, coffee on the 101 — and never left. Painted to coincide with LeucadiART Walk, the mural marks her first year in town: O'Connell depicted herself climbing a ladder to add one more number to a tally of the local population. The "II" in the title suggests a second iteration, though no source documents the original.
