A Leucadia local himself, Davis has spent over twenty years developing his signature style: surf culture fused with mass-media surrealism, with echoes of Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera. This piece took more than a week to complete. Some of his other work can be seen at Back Wax and Chuck, and his gallery space, Club Paradise, a few miles south on the 101.
