About
Adapted from Matthew Perdoni's local character Gill, commissioned by The Regal Seagull as a social photo opportunity, you can try on Gill's wings for the shot. Perdoni is a New Englander by upbringing who spent four years studying fine art in Italy before settling in North County San Diego, where he teaches art at Encinitas Country Day School and works as a muralist. Gill also appears at other spots around Leucadia, pasted up between August and September 2026: Stoked Gill, Skate Gill 1, Skate Gill 2, Surf Gill 1, Surf Gill 2, Not So Stoked Gill, and Surly Gill.
