This mural, on the wall of Chick & Hawk's structure known as "The Coop," was designed by Mark Gonzales and executed by Tait Roelofs and Tyler Gibney. Announcing it, the restaurant wrote: "So honored and stoked to have this Mark Gonzales mural on The Coop. Huge thanks to Gonz, Tait Roelofs, and Tyler Gibney for bringing this to life for our community." One of three exterior murals at the restaurant, alongside Shepard Fairey's piece and Dave Persue's piece. Gonzales is a pioneer of modern street skateboarding, credited alongside Natas Kaupas with popularizing rail tricks in the 1980s; Transworld Skateboarding named him skateboarding's most influential rider of all time in 2011. He founded Krooked Skateboards in 2002 and has shown as a fine artist in Tokyo, New York, and Germany.
